Well if u suppose to be a programmer than u should know that its absolutely valid to take the average especially if u have so many players the round up fits it all.

I dident wanna blame any players but the game happend with GGGGG i dont know if he is doing it on purpose but here is another game : http://www.dotalicious-gaming.com/index.php?action=dota;area=game&game=925164 with a difference of nearly 500 points xp and if u see the players there could have been easy made a swap between Stan3k and zgroz to equal 400 points.

QED there is a bug with this fucking checkbox

and another game with 485 points difference where the balacne could have been better : http://www.dotalicious-gaming.com/index.php?action=dota;area=game&game=925128

I've said mine, Emmeran is the guy you want to talk to.
O yeah, I mean you are the awesome dude and that other dude is not.

Player A: 900
Player B: 1000
Player C: 1100
Player D: 1200
Player E: 1300
Ah, so if im interpreting this correctly, you mean that the player with the highest exp is in team 1, the one with the second highest exp is in team B, third highest in team C and so on?

If so then i finally see how you're thinking lol but im pretty damn sure that's not how it works, i think the system calculates how the teams could be set up so that the difference in exp is the smallest possible.
For example if the highest exp player is in team 1 then the guys with 2nd and 3rd highest exp could be in team 2 to balance that up

Exactly what I ment. :-) All though there is a chance this is just bullshit since I have no clue how the XP system works, I'm just taking guesses from what I've seen and how I would do it.

GGGGG had a sl3 grant, it's always like that if someone has a grant, I had that when I had mine aswell.
Love me or hate me, but don't try to change me!

I've also had this happen to me about 2 days ago. There was a huge XP difference, with a 1600~ guy and the second highest xp in the same team. There were a couple of 7xx 8xx players too. That game never started so it's not listed. The xp difference was around 600 points. I quickly swapped two players in my head and saw that the teams' total xp would have equalized. I am pretty sure that the 1600 guy had clicked the no captain btn.

If u know that it is a bug with the grant sl3 status why dont u fix it its like a free 80% win for these guys. Not that anyone of that class needs a sl3 grant if they cant get it by their own they propably not deserve it.

Can you tell me what this will be like in the future, will it be fixed ? I think its very unfair to loose a game like this where you have no chance cause many better players are in 1 team.

It's no bug, it's as intended iirc. Those with a sl3 grant have a fixed exp(that isn't visible to players but is used in the matchmaking calculation)
