skilllevel and bullshit warns

With around 400 games on the dotalicious client, I think it's time to voice my opinion on two things that really bothers me - skilllevels and bullshit warns

Lets start with the skill levels

sl0: big fat royal king newbs playing.

sl1: same as sl0

sl2: majority got the basics right, alot of wannabe's - only a few good players

sl3: Never seen an active game.

You might as well merge sl0 and sl1 into one - cause there's no difference except for the no point gain in sl0. sl0 and sl1 SUCK EQUALLY MUCH.

But, I assume that's not going to happen - so my advice is you purge away the 20 worst players - I need say no names - we all know who im talking about - players who are more likely to decide the outcome of games than the best players.

sl2?

well lets start with some rules about what you can and can not do in sl2 games - for instance I see supporters going carry in sl2 and sucking trying to carry it - when they could've warded and thus won the game. ( NOT PP'ABLE)


Then I see people buying dagon - yet warding and participating in the teamfights. Who get warned for "gameruin/unserious"

Can whoever mod, that issued that pp plz elaborate  on what the difference is - cause in my book - not buying wards at all is is more of a gameruin than buying dagon, lol.

ye i understand what u mean, but still u cant just say: "u 20 ppl dont play any more skilllvl1 games no matter u got skilllvl1 requirements."
And these requirements are still 33% win, so dont expect too much from sl1.
I cant say much to sl2, but when ic a game, it seems to be filled with decent players, so i dont know why u are raging about that one. this is not dotapride dude.

I think it's admirable that benao, one of the 20 players mentioned by souwleye, is this understanding.

Here's a thought: Raise the bar for skill level 1 or give a reason to why people at skilllevel 2 (and 3) should rather play those level games rather than 1. They give the same experience, so I dont see any reason to not just play skilllevel 1.

Something like a vote to decrease someones Skilllvl wud be rlly awesome.
I know u´ll say now its easy to abuse ,but mb if for example 30!! players vote for someone ,i think theres is an important reason for this.(removed)

SL1 Starts to suck hard as more and more noobs flood it, and i am quite stuck there, because of my awesome luck with good teams, and if reset stats i will be permamently stuck in SL0. Fucking great!

I hope you don't take this offensively, but "if i reset my stats i will be permanently stuck in SL0." -> if that is the case, you really do not deserve to be in sl2 or sl3. Most SL2 or SL3 players get 60-90% winrate if they play sl0 games (just something i've found out via empiric observation)

PS: The SL1 requirements could be increased abit. (say, (20+ games 40%+ winrate) or (10+ games and 50%+ winrate) )

The case is, 4 PP's, because of them , i would need 80 games to get out from SL-0, that's ALOT. I am unlucky with team

Really everyone? One-sided point of view. And i cant post names, as they will be removed.
I am neither a terrible player nor the best out of there. Most of the times team perfomance is simply lacking(mid failed, carry got no farm etc.) I had some fails too, but who havent had them?

since we are talking about sl2 i expect from u or everyone who plays there, to be able to carry a game himself, having knowledge of competitive lineups and can react on game situations. Ofc everybody can have a bad game and everybody has, but its a difference between having a bad game and not being able to do better.

You stated the reasons, why i want to be in SL2. And you cant carry 1v5, no matter how hard you will try...
Unfortunately, big part of my played games are bad...
I do everything, i can each game, i think my perfomance is fine.
