as many already rumoured, we finally after an amazing three-year journey, are closing down DotAlicious Gaming.

In the last two years we have received a lot of support from the ESL network, but unfortunately our shop and advertisement never gained enough momentum to make DotAlicious a sustainable business. This of course is largely due to Dota 2 growing in steadily growing in popularity, constantly pulling away valuable players from DotA and therefore also DotAlicious. At some point we have to close down and cut our losses, and we feel that it is a good idea to do so now before DotAlicious starts to decay and fall apart.

We want to thank all our supporters, especially the ESL network (you should check out their awesome Dota 2 tournament) as well all as our mediators, lead by Alibambam, which voluntarily worked their asses off to handle reports and keep the community together.
Last but not least we want to thank our many very active forum users and of course everyone who participated in the staggering amount of nearly 1.000 years of gametime played here.

We will keep the forums open for a couple more days before we shut off our servers completely.
