I should be the sole promotor.

Also, a suggestion would be to make SL2 requirements into 50 matchmaking games played with a 51% winpercentage.

For obvious reasons.

Would've participated had it started on the 28th rather than the 27th. Christmas holidays overrules DotA.

A decent level of English should be mandatory upon wanting to become an administrator.

This alone prevents you from applying, benao.

A thorough consideration of your psychological capabilities and qualities as an administrator would also be a given.

This too prevents you from applying, benao.

Also, while "parcial" might be the correct way of spelling it in Latino countries, it's "partial" in the English-speaking world.

Which is why the playerpool for sl3 should be increased past a mere 5% of the playerpool (which is roughly only 80 players?) yet still have some sort of requirement to skills.

Sl2 games open regularily. Try it at times where many players are online

It isn't regularly if it's only in a short period of time each day that you will be able to play a sl2 game. And even so, I'm almost positive that there's hardly ever more than one sl2 game going on at a time. I don't think it's a regular occurance if I have to sit and wait an hour for the next sl2 game to start because I missed one by 2 minutes or was the 11th player to join.

Regular, to me, would be being able to get at least a sl2 game going every 15-20 minutes. At the very least.

My suggestion is that you either reward sl2 wins more (either in terms of XP without taking more than you would lose in a sl1 game - or some sort of icon that is only achievable through sl2 games?) or simply restrict it so that if you want to play matchmaking matches, you can only do it on your own level. Normal games should still be open to everyone regardless of sl-level since a lot of people are playing with their friends, but the matchmaking-system could easily be implemented with a restriction that disallows sl2 players to play in sl0-1 games. With the very limited playerpool in sl3, games would probably never start alas you should still be able to play sl2 matchmaking games as such.

I would too, but not based on flaming or illmannered behavior but rather mere lack of skill.

I know the league is built this way, but as long as there is practically no sl2 games going and, for as long as I have been here, hasn't been a sl3 ever, there's got to be some way to improve the standards of the games.

Either we need to attract more players or provide some sort of stimulus in order to encourage more sl2 games and quite possibly, be still my utopian heart, MORE SL3 GAMES!

Simply said: In its current state the platform provides mostly, if not exclusively, sl0 and 1  games in which the level of skill is simply too low for any matchmaked team to do either side justice - neither newbies nor talented players.

I think it's admirable that benao, one of the 20 players mentioned by souwleye, is this understanding.

Here's a thought: Raise the bar for skill level 1 or give a reason to why people at skilllevel 2 (and 3) should rather play those level games rather than 1. They give the same experience, so I dont see any reason to not just play skilllevel 1.

Feedback / Crappy client

This client utterly blows. Keeps disconnecting me for no reason in the middle of a game.

See you when you're client is anywhere close to GArena anno 2007 - which was utter shit, yet better than this.
